We booked the 2-day private package and it was the perfect way to experience Istanbul for the first time. Day 1 in the Old City was packed but never felt rushed because the guide managed timing and crowds really well. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque were the big wow moments, and Topkapi finally made sense with a guide explaining the layout and stories. Day 2 was a totally different vibe and we loved that contrast. The Bosphorus cruise was beautiful, and having the guide point out landmarks along the water made it so much more interesting than just taking photos. Ending with Taksim and Istiklal gave us a modern side of the city too. Great balance, very smooth experience.
