I am always happy to serve families with children or people with disabilities. For each tour, the first thing I do is to determine the group's expectations and enthusiasm and then try my best to cover all those expectations, of course within the borders of the previously agreed program. I can guide you all around the country, but please check my specialties on my profile for the best service.
You can contact me before you decide on your visit to Turkey so I can give you a hand in preparing the program and timing. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards.

How much is a private tour guide in Istanbul?
The cost of hiring a private tour guide in Istanbul can vary depending on factors such as the duration of the tour, the expertise of the guide, and the specific services included. On average, you can expect to pay around 200-500 USD per day for a private tour guide in Istanbul. However, prices can be higher or lower based on individual circumstances and negotiations.
How many days in Istanbul are enough?
The number of days you should spend in Istanbul depends on your interests and the amount of time you have available. Istanbul is a vibrant and culturally rich city with numerous attractions to explore. To get a good overview of the city's main highlights, a minimum of 3–4 days is usually recommended. This would allow you to visit iconic landmarks like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, and take a cruise along the Bosphorus. If you have more time, you can further immerse yourself in the city's history, visit additional museums and neighborhoods, or take day trips to nearby attractions such as the Princes' Islands or the historic city of Edirne.
Is it safe to travel to Istanbul right now?
As for the safety of traveling to Istanbul, it's always important to stay updated on current travel advisories and consult official sources such as your country's foreign ministry or the local embassy or consulate. While Istanbul is generally considered safe for tourists, it's advisable to exercise caution and be aware of your surroundings, especially in crowded areas and on public transportation. Like any major city, there may be occasional reports of petty theft or scams, so it's wise to take common-sense precautions such as keeping an eye on your belongings and avoiding unfamiliar or isolated areas at night. It's also a good idea to follow any local regulations or guidelines related to COVID-19 or other health and safety measures.
Hvad er den bedste måde at udforske Istanbul på?
The best way to explore Istanbul largely depends on your personal preferences and interests. Here are a few recommended approaches:
•
Walking: Istanbul's historic areas, such as Sultanahmet and Beyoglu, are best explored on foot. Walking allows you to fully appreciate the city's architecture, narrow streets, and vibrant atmosphere. There are also guided walking tours available that provide insightful commentary and take you to lesser-known spots.
•
Public Transportation: Istanbul has an extensive public transportation system, including buses, trams, metros, and ferries. Utilizing public transportation can be an efficient way to navigate the city, reach different neighborhoods, and experience local life.
•
Bosphorus Cruise: Taking a boat tour along the Bosphorus is a popular way to see Istanbul from a different perspective. You can enjoy breathtaking views of the city's skyline, palaces, and bridges while learning about its history and significance.
•
Guided Tours: Joining organized guided tours can provide in-depth knowledge about Istanbul's history, culture, and attractions. You can choose from various options, including general city tours, theme-specific tours (e.g., culinary tours, street art tours), or private tours tailored to your interests.
Ultimately, the best way to explore Istanbul is to combine different methods based on your preferences, allowing you to discover the city's diverse offerings and create a memorable experience.

Hi,
I choose my guide as Memis who seems pure natural Turkish man and i would like to explore city with local and licensed tour guide. Memis was well-informed and master in history which was my top favorite speciality. He knows each corner of the city and we sip a tea in special garden named Cafraha madrasah. Suggested to book a guide who has license. Enjoy your Istanbul trip!
Cheers,
Christine
